Batumi

The Sheraton Batumi Hotel as the first international 5 star branded hotel in Adjara region introduced traditional Sheraton service excellence and soon became a symbol of hospitality and luxury. It was projected and constructed according to the conception of Lighthouse of Alexandria. Its location is right in the heart of the city, just next to the famous Batumi Boulevard with its long promenades alongside the Black Sea beach and 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Old City, only 15 minutes drive away from Batumi International Airport and the Central Train Station.

The original five-storey building of the hotel was erected in1939. Withotelhin 65 years of its existence the hotel underwent major overhaul and redesign in 1979-1980 and 2005-2006.

The distinctive feature of hotel building in its initial intention remains the original semicircular hotel façade facing immediately the Maritime Park and the alley leading to the main colonnade of Batumi Boulevard.
