Brief Itinerary:

Day 1. Tbilisi-Mestia

Day 2. Mestia-Ushguli-Mestia

Day 3. Mestia

Day 4. Mestia-Tbilisi

Sightseeing on the Tour:

Day 1. Tbilisi – Gori – Kutaisi – Zugdidi – Mestia / 500 km

Meet with guide and drive to Svaneti. Svaneti region is dominated by mountains that are separated by deep gorges. Highest mountain Shkhara at 5,068 m. Lunch en route at traditional local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse in Mestia.

Day 2. Mestia-Ushguli-Mestia

Breakfast at the guesthouse. After breakfast we start our excursion and drive to Ushguli. Usghuli village is believed to be the highest permanently inhabited place in Europe. It contains buildings that are part of the UNESCO Heritage site of Upper Svaneti. Altitude claims for village vary from 2,086 to 2,200 m. Picnic-lunch in Ushguli. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse in Mestia

 Day 3. Exploring Mestia

Breakfast at the guesthouse. After breakfast we start our excursion visiting ethnographical defensive tower-museum and traditional house. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse in Mestia.

 Day 4.  Mestia-Zugdidi-Kutaisi-Gori-Tbilisi

After breakfast we drive back to Tbilisi. Picnic lunch en route.

Included: transportation from Tbilisi (A/C 4WD/minivan/minibus), bottled water 0.5 lit. per person per day, guide service, 3 x nights in the guesthouse in Mestia, 1 x lunch, 3 x picnic lunches, 3 x dinners, breakfasts, pick-up/drop-off
